Our Story
Do you avoid the mirror when you wake up?
I used to, waking up with a puffy face and sleep wrinkles.
But look at my Mother Milly. When I brought her morning tea, unlike me, she looked fresh-faced, unwrinkled, and ready for the day- at over 90 years old!
We worked out the reason was our different sleep positions. Milly always slept on her back with no pressure on her face. I slept on my side, pressing sleep wrinkles and eye bags into my face all night.
Further research, I found beauty experts agreed on the health and beauty benefits of back sleeping.
I decided to change my sleep position, give up sleeping on my side and begin sleeping on my back.
This was the start of the ‘Waking Beauty Sleep System ‘. Nothing was available to help – we had to invent it.
As we developed and tested our system, we found it could help more people than we had dreamed.
We found you can use Waking Beauty to support any chosen sleep position, the first adaptable, natural, sustainable sleep system.
Waking Beauty won a double Gold Medal as British Invention of the Year in 2021.
And in a typically British way. It all started with a morning cup of tea.
